Hi
Love your website blog and the informative articles.
As a value investor, chartered accountant and chartered financial analyst with some experience in australian listed businesses, I am wondering why you have not elicited any particular companies you have been looking at, modelling and contemplating on… such as greenbakd but obviously australia centric. it would be interesting to see what you have spent time on, based on your work, metholdogy and strategic viewpoint of the business and its competitive position,. I understand if this is not done due to not be seeing as giving any sort of recommendation, however I think supplementing your great articles with stock specific thoughts would increase your following and reader comments, discussions, such as Doddsville/bristlemouth .
keep up the good work

Thank you for the feedback. I have deliberately avoided case studies because I want the reader to focus solely on the methodology of valuing a business. If I use case studies some readers may get sidetracked and focus on how successful or otherwise the investment was, or focus on interesting aspects of the case study, and not on the underlying valuation process.
Hi
great blog – seems to have gone a bit quiet
Donald
Fallible – I’m also a huge fan of your work and I can’t help noticing that you’ve gone quiet lately. I hope it isn’t because you are abandoning the project, please don’t if that’s the case.
Please, more articles, this is all very useful stuff.

Just chiming in to say i love the website and am also hoping you havent stopped posting for good!
Hi mate,
Just thought I would drop you a line to say g’day, we chatted briefly yesterday riding Cootha.
Was interesting talking to you; thank you for the book recommendation, I ordered it this morning 🙂
Your blog has taken my interest and I plan to read through it over time. I’ve been self managing a small share portfolio for a couple of years now, pretty limited knowledge, I use ‘Fat Prophets’ for almost all of my purchases. I’ve recently sold off a lot of it however, as I’ve bought a unit down in Paddington.
MIght bump into you again on the mountain sometime.
All the best
Seaton
